Soyo Rebate Troubles

This is the journal of my troubles receiving my rebate checks from Soyo.

On June 24, 2004 I ordered a Soyo K7VME barebones kit from TigerDirect.com. I received my package and submitted my rebates via mail on July 1, 2004. I am still waiting for my checks.

The following journal is all of my communications with Soyo in my saga over these checks. Newest entries are at the top.

It is all over now. I received the $50 check on 3/1/2005 (dated Feb. 26) and the $20 check on 3/24/2005 (Dated March 13). This is approximately 7-8 months after purchasing the Soyo products and submitting the required forms.

If you are here looking for advice on Soyo rebates, I don't know what to tell you. They were not honest with me in their emails. I don't know if my emails to them helped me get my money.

I will think twice about ever ordering from TigerDirect.com again. I know I will not buy anymore Soyo products.

July 1, 2004 - Package received and rebates completed and mailed.
                            Rebate program #1292, $20.
                            Rebate Program #1252, $50.
Forms indicate that rebate checks will be mailed 12-14 weeks after postmark date of program. (July 30, 2004 for #1292 and Sept. 13, 2004 for #1252)
